Electronic Fingerprinting
We offer electronic (livescan) fingerprinting that transmits your fingerprints directly to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and/or FBI for processing.

- Jefferson County and Federal employment
- Interstate Compact
- Jefferson County liquor license
- Jefferson County explosive permit
What to Bring
Required Items
- Valid photo ID - Driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID
- Authorization form - From your employer or licensing agency (if applicable)
- Payment - Cash, check, or credit card
Tips for Best Results
- • Avoid lotions or hand sanitizer before your appointment
- • Keep hands clean and dry
- • Remove rings and jewelry
- • Avoid activities that may damage fingerprints (gardening, cleaning)
- • If you have cuts or abrasions, allow them to heal first

We do not provide fingerprinting for the following purposes. Please use the CBI fingerprinting vendor:
- Healthcare licensing
- Volunteer clearances
- Teacher/School employee clearance
- Real estate licensing
- Adoption/foster care
