Types of Records Available

Records We Do NOT Maintain

The following records are not available from the Sheriff's Office. Please contact the appropriate agency:

  • Dispatch records and location searches for incidents dated March 2018 to current — contact our regional dispatch center JEFFCOM 911(opens in new tab)
  • Court records (contact the Colorado Judicial Branch)
  • Criminal history records (contact the Colorado Bureau of Investigation)
  • Sealed or expunged records
  • Active investigation materials
  • Juvenile records (restricted by law)

Medical records for inmates treated by VitalCore at the detention facility.

Fees & Payment

Effective January 2, 2025 — The following fee schedule applies to all records requests:

Standard Fees

  • Processing Fee $3.00
  • Research, Retrieval & Redaction (First hour free)
    $40.00/hr
  • Initial Deposit (Large requests or BWC)
    $40.00
  • Materials: Record Hardcopy $0.25/page
  • Materials: CD/DVD Disk $10.00/device
  • Materials: Flash Drive (up to 32GB) $10.00/device
  • Materials: Flash Drive (over 32GB) Request-specific
  • Delivery: Postal Mail $3.00
